So. Assuming that Sam's visions stopped happening when they killed the YED it would make sense that Sam's visions were sent by the YED.

Think about it; they were usually (but not always—Home was about Mary) about the special kids and usually (but not always) ended in the death of one of the kids.

So, basically, YED was using Sammy's Emo Death Visions of Redundant Emo Death to get Sammy in on the Battle Royal early. Even if Max took himself out and Gordon took out Scott. He was trying to do to Sam what he managed to do to Ava—turn him into a killer and make his perfect general even more perfect.

I fucking hate BWI and it's internet, BTW.

My writing workshop over at spnroundtable got picked up by metafandom and, thus, I have gotten four or five epically long comments from people who would like me to know that they have guy friends who are intelligent and own cats and thus do not act like the boys I described in my post. One even went so far as to suggest that I edit the post (in the Supernatural comm that was on writing in Supernatural) to say that when I say "boys" I mean "these guys definitely do this because they'd be seen as social weirdos of a kind if they didn't, and it is socially acceptable and encouraged for them to act this way, so it's not as if they're worse than the average guy; it's just, you can bet that guys like them are going to want to act like this, because they'd get funny looks if they didn't act like that in these situations.

Yes, that's a direct quote. Even if I had the ability to edit the post now (you only get posting ability for a few hours when you need to post something in that comm, otherwise it wouldn't be as neat and organized as it is) I wouldn't because I didn't submit the post to metafandom, the posted wasn't directed at all writers so I don't really mind if this person doesn't like it. This wasn't me saying, "Dear writers, this is how you should write all boys everywhere." This wasn't even me saying, "Dear Supernatural writers, this is how you should write the boys because I say so." It was more me saying, "this is how boys like Sam/Dean/Jared/Jensen/Mike/Insert CWRPS Chara Here act, keep this in mind."

I was just tired of reading fics where Dean is sobbing because he didn't protect Sam from that black eye or where Sam is MOG SO OFFENDED that Dean looks at porn (the thing from Tall Tales wasn't that Dean was looking at porn, it's that he was looking at it on Sam's laptop--a territorial issue I'm sure a few of us can understand).

Also? I have realized that coming from Comics has kinda fucked me for meta. Because I've been trained to think very little of the creators, to expect them to be very stupid, honestly. That's part of why I didn't chime in on the whole racism/sexism wank (and no, this is not an opportunity for you to tell me your thoughts on it); because I just don't give the writers that much credit. I know I should but some of my previous fandoms are Prison Break (where the fucking genius brother stood there dumbstruck and outsmarted by a fucking ELEVATOR) and Smallville (who has given Lex a dead younger brother, added a living half brother, later said Lex was an only child despite the half-brother still being alive and then possibly have brought the dead brother back to life and aged him twenty-something years or so).

I'm just not used to having writers who actually have the brains to have John summon YED with the Sigil of Azazel way back in IMToD and then remember that and tell us that the YED was Azazel a full season later.

Yeah, it's totally nine now and I took a break from this to make Yussie food and do the dishes, I think I'm gonna go finish the dishes right now and maybe spam more later.

Well. I wrote up an IBARW post and my brain apparently got bored with it. It started out having a point and then turned into, "and then, this one time..." because I completely lost the thread somewhere along the way. This is just not my day today, I can't seem to do anything right.

- Just signed up for spn_remix because I am a fucking masochist. I'm hoping not to get the same person I got in my last remix because, nothing personal, I never realized how much of a Wincester I was until I had nothing but gen fics to choose from to remix.

- Also? I will laugh heartily when either I get Deam or he gets me because we talk constantly and past in bits of what we're writing into chat when we talk. So if one of us gets the other we will know immediately when we don't want to talk about our Remix.

- I just downloaded the first 495 pages of Deathly Hollows. I don't even read HP. I think I just downloaded it because I could. I'm the chick who will be clicking on all the cut-tags next Sunday when my entire FList loses their fucking mind as one just because I wanna know what's going on.

- Tomorrow me and Phil are going to see Transformers and Harry Potter. My spoiler shirt came in from Threadless (I love you Julia!) and I'm totally wearing it tomorrow.

- I am currently procrastinating on a commentary for Twelve Times Dad Threatened to Turn The Car Around (And Three Times Dean Almost Rode In The Trunk). And yes, even I think I should've come up with a fucking shorter title.

- In the last two days I have eaten: one can of chicken noodle soup, two saltines (four if you count the ones in the soup), some onion rings, half a strip of Chips Ahoy and two pieces of Oreo Pie. Yussie made hamburgers last night (Saturday, not Sunday) and I wanted some so bad it wasn't funny, but because my stomach was all messed up I couldn't have any.

- My sleep schedule is all fucked up again.

- I've taken to throwing in a disc of Supernatural when I lay down to sleep. I think I'm subliminally trying to get Yussie hooked on it.

- I also make notes while "trying to sleep" and watching it. Sam totally corrected Dean in the Pilot when Dean cracked on him for wanting "normal." "No. Not normal. Safe." Poor Sammy didn't care about fitting in, he just didn't want to fear for his or his family's lives.

- I still have an obscene amount of comments in my inbox. Like fucking thirty-something that I should answer. Only about ten of them are still from my Big Bang though. Basically if the comment required any kind of brainpower I hit "Mark as Unread" and have not answered yet.

- I don't like being awake when Phil and Deam and everyone else is sleeping (and Julia is working). It's not fun.

- I have like, 60+ icons sitting in a folder on my desktop that I should upload and post eventually. I hesitate because I suck at making icons. I can crop and cut and color caps but... Two of them have any kind of brush or anything on them. I make really glorified bases. And occasionally finger-paint on Sam's face.

- Shit. I should probably plan my 50 States fic too, huh?

She sucks. Seriously. I have spent the last two days trying to rework my Big Bang plans to coincide with the The Usual Suspects ending.

But now my net is beyond wonky and uploading even a single userpic is more trouble than it's worth. I've been reading through my Werewolf Encyclopedia for the past few hours and have discovered two things.

I have finally figured out which movie apocalypsos' Curse 'Verse fics (This One Time in a Michelle Pfeiffer Movie...) reference. In the movie Ladyhawk she played a woman who turned into a hawk each day while her lover (that word still makes me fucking cringe) turned into a wolf each night because of a spell cast on them. I feel oddly happy at knowing this now.

Also? I am curious. See I have all these dumb things I've done, and all these things my brothers and their friends have done but I wanna hear new ones. I'll even trade if you want, one stupid story from me for one from you. I'll start.

My brothers and their friends climbed on the top of the trailers (Ours and theirs) one Fourth of July and had a massive water-balloon fight across the street. It ended with two friends, one on each trailer, falling off. One fell into a rosebush while the other bounced off of our van.

Yes, I'm still awake and yes I'm making another post. I'm bored; fucking deal with it.

I think I know part of the reason why I'm so hesitant to work on my Five Powers fic. "Twelve Times [...]" was only the second SPN fic I ever did (Faulty Wiring totally doesn't count and oddly it's the Michael voice that makes me cringe) and lots of people liked it. Lots of people recced it even. I don't want to sound like some deluded retard who's afraid of "letting down her throws of fans" with a bomb or something cause that's not what it is. I'm totally spazzing that either people will just plain-out not like it or that they will refer to it in the way I've referred back to old fics in mostly-defunct fandoms: "Oh yeah, she did that one story, right? I liked that one. Everything else was kinda shitty but that one was good."

I think I had more coherent things on this but I am SO fucking tired right now.

Also I want to go through every episode of Supernatural and make a note of all the clothes Sammich and Dean and John (When we see him) wear on the show because I love how the clothes reappear a lot like they really don't have a lot.
