At WinCon we saw someone who was on Supernatural and didn't even fucking realize it!

We went to Rocky Horror on Saturday night and they were doing the birthdays and there was this kid up there named Travis and I remember him because he was turning 30 and looked like he was about 20 if he pushed it and because he looked familiar to me. But I didn't say anything because I had barely been out of the hotel and figured he was one of the people who had been wandering around there and not with WinCon.

HE WAS SPANGLER FROM HELL HOUSE! AND THE WORST TWIN EVER FROM ROAD TRIP!

DUDES! WE FAIL AT BEING FANS FOR FUCKING EVER!

With a brand new header from gigglingkat, a new icon I made (this one right here from a quote from the American Fic Idol panel) and more new friends than I can think to count at the moment.

SOFA KING TIRED. Expect a coherent write up tomorrow or like, whenever the hell I actually get all that sleep I should've gotten at WinCon.

There were videos taken of all the panels, I guess, and I know there were ones of the karaoke songs, and some during dinner and stuff.

There was no vid show flyer but the vid show was AWESOME. I am too tired for fucking italics so deal with the caps in place of them.

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH I AM AT WINCON AND ZMOGYAYZ!

I am making brownies right now for my roomies when I get there. Only one batch because two would've taken too long.

In eight hours and sixteen minutes I will be boarding my plane to California. I am so freaked out right now it isn't even funny. I think I may throw up.

It's only an hour and a half flight though; I'm thinking I'm gonna be watching House on my way there while trying to distract myself.

On the bus in 45 minutes, class from 1000-1115, then I head to the school library, print out my boarding pass and bus it back here to Mom's. She'll be here around 1430 to pick me up and take me to the airport. I will likely spend all of my time that I wait for a flight sitting against a wall, plugged in and HOPING someone else is online to help distract me from my vomity, crying feelings.

ALSO MY HAIR LOOKS AWESOME AND AT SOME POINT IN THE WEEKEND WILL BE IN PIGTAILS.

Planes are bad, yo.

GUYS. One of our WinCon roommates backed out at the last minute, so we have a spot to fill in out room! If you know anyone who needs a spot to sleep in, PLEASE let unperfectwolf know ASAP.

There are two rooms with a bunch of people that will be in there, but yeah. The cost is 50 dollars for the weekend (Thursday Night-Sunday Morning) if we find another person. So. Her email is shewasagirl at gmail.com.

Up for grabs here. Some of the people who bought their tickets found out they couldn't make it past the refund date so now they're selling them. If there's anyone one my FList who wants to go but doesn't have a ticket you might wanna go nab one there.

Hi. So I left for Mom's on Monday to spend the week there so we could go shopping and stuff to get me ready for classes starting tomorrow. I didn't make a post because I assumed, wrongly, that this comp isn't a piece of shit and I would be able to use dial-up to get online. I was wrong. There's something wrong with the comp so that it doesn't hear a dial-tone when I plug a phone cord into it and make it dial.; Pissed me off for a few hours on Monday night and then it wasn't too bad.

While at Mom's I watched: House of Wax (a bad cam copy so I could hear but not actually see Jared for the most part), Cry_Wolf (DVD rip, not enough Jared), three eps of Grey's Anatomy (the two-parter with Meredith in the water and the death cluster one) and most of season two of Boston Legal. I also got to watch John Doe and a few of the really good eps of The X-Files on Sci-Fi. I had totally forgotten how awesome Kaddish and Leonard Betts were.

Wednesday we got my hair trimmed (and it's got layer and looks girly and that is so weird) and the sides shaved again. Thursday was sitting around and doing nothing.

Friday, though, was a big day. Started with me hopping on the bus at ten to go get my hair dyed. It's zig-zagged blue and pink (chartreuse as Mom called it) on the right and left respectively and it looks so cool that I've actually had my hair down all weekend. I usually never, ever have it down so this is a big thing. After that we went clothes shopping. I got a half dozen or so shirts from Goodwill and a pair of pants from there too. Then I got another pair of pants (my Dean jeans--STFU) from Wal-Mart and some socks and a pair of boxers. Then we went back to Mom's and ate and then I got some notebooks for school and got taken home just in time to start the NL.

So I get home and instead of starting the NL immediately I help Stephie with the Altador Plot on Neopets and then start the NL at like, 2200 or so. I got two hours into coding and then was promptly incoherent for the better part of an hour.

Why? Because while talking to Hans, Deam, and Kwen they decided to unveil clexathon on me. Holy shit, you guys. I honestly cried for a solid hour when they showed me that. And then I felt like a complete tool because I had spent the entire week at Mom's bitching to Deam on the phone about how I didn't think I was gonna be able to go because not only did I have no money but I didn't really have anything I could sell for money either. So yeah, I'm definitely going to WinCon now. Mom's letting me stay at her place on Wednesday the 10th and is driving me from class to the airport the next day. My flight leaves at like 1600ish so I should have enough time between class ending at 1415 and getting through security and all that shit to actually have some time to sit down before I get on the plane and start freaking out.

And then all of Saturday was spent attempting to catch up on my FList and then coding the NL. Today I'm gonna goof off and tonight I'm gonna crash no later than midnight. I have to be up around seven tomorrow for the bus.

So. I have no financial aid. It's not horrible though because Mom and CJ are gonna pay for me (I hope they realize it's gonna be that way next semester too) because it's only about a thousand bucks total (taken out in five increments). Which is good, and they'll pay for my books too if I can get them cheap.

Yuss still doesn't have a job and my lack of financial aid now disqualifies me from doing work study there too. My schedule, as shown here, means that I won't even be home until Between two and five in the afternoon (depending on the day) so if I got a job it would have to be somewhere between sixish and whatever time still lets me get home early enough to wake at like, six in the morning.

I usually have a good, nice chunk of money left after financial aide for clothes or whatever is needed but now I don't. I have two pairs of pants and one has a big hole on the inside thigh. I've been waiting like, a month for Mom to take me to Wal-Mart and get me one pair of $20 pants but I don't think that's gonna happen any time soon.

Then there's the twenty bucks a month for a bus card to get to and from school. I'm gonna be spending four hours a day on the bus and John the iPod and Sam the laptop (forgot I'm still on crutches, nevermind the laptop) will be saving me from early morning drunks and the asshole high schoolers on it. I love you, Julia!

I'm trying not to stress about WinCon. It's just that it's in less than three months and I have $0 out of $325 needed for it. I just filled out an application for this place where Phil works (Not Dell, Singular) even though I have no idea what their hours are like. I'm not confident at all that I'll be able to do the job even part time but it's worth trying. Yuss needs to get a job, for serious. I know it's not his fault because he applies constantly, it's just that he can't get anyone to hire him. It still pisses me off (but not at him though). Man, if I had my brace fixed I could totally be a car-hop at Sonic. Kinda hard to rollarblade on crutches though.

I'd rather not have to sell my brother over the net to get to WinCon but I think I may have to resort to that.

Okay. So. Might not be going to WinCon. It depends on money things. This is me trying to find out money things.

I still feel like crap, BTW. Not fun. Also? I'm a raging bitch when I'm sick so if I've offended anyone or hurt anyone's feelings or just been an ass to them I apologize. I apologize again because I will likely do so again before I get better.

I spent a big fucking chunk of today working on The Laundry List. Phase two is done. Tomorrow I get to go and compare my notes with the previously seen clothing and then try and code this fucking monster. I need to figure out what I'm going to meta at the end of it. Last season was them doing their laundry so I've already got that covered. I think I already have metas on Dean dressing like John and Sam layering up so doing those again would just be very redundant. Anyone have any ideas?

Also? I'm kinda really bored with my layout now. I love my headers; it's just everything else that's blah. causette, remind me to poke you when you come online.

I also have this icky, icky feeling that I'm gonna end up not being able to go to WinCon. Chelsea's not going but she's still paying my con fee, so that's cool. However I have this huge feeling that either I'm gonna get turned down for financial aid (Because Mom and CJ, who my financial aid go off of, make a combined total of a lot of money) or I'm gonna get it but we're gonna need it for bills in August/September/October or something.

Okay, this thing where some random psycho!fan jumped on Jensen at Asylum? That right there is why I don't tell Mundys about Fandom or what I do online; because people automatically jump to the crazy ones and judge us as a whole based on them.

And speaking of conventions, I am starting to have big fears about WinCon. Not about the Con itself but about my ability to go. See, every time I get my Financial Aid, which is what I'm using to fund my trip, something always comes up. First semester I needed to put up all my Financial Aid and all my Separation Money from Job Corps to get into the apartment with Mom. Spring semester came around and I spent a bunch of money helping Mom out and buying stuff for Yussie (He desperately needed clothes, and it wasn't that bad because we share anyway). This last fall semester I spent about $1,200 of my $1,500 on a new computer which is basically Yussie's birthday present from me. Spring semester I spent all but about a hundred helping Dad get this place.

We now have eight people in our room. Yes, yes, I know, I'm insane. Shut up, it's not like anyone is gonna sleep anyway.

We still have the room from Friday to Monday and each person will only have to pay about thirty bucks for it. Not thirty per night, thirty for the whole weekend.

Phil, Chelsea, Abrupte and I are driving out there on Friday and coming back on Monday. Abrupte is coming in sometime on Thursday and crashing out for the night with me. Phil is getting nabbed on Firday from his apartment and Chelsea should be here by the time Abrupte's flight gets in. Our car and gas cost for the trip is about $80 per person, give or take.

Phil, don't worry, I can pack a car like no one's business.

I only just realized that 225 divided by 7 is 225/7 because it actually is a fraction.

So yeah. Anyway. People going to WinCon and being in The Insane Room: 225/7 is 32 and change so assume that it'll be around $35 each for the room for the whole weekend. We have the room for check-in at 1500 (3pm) on October 12th and we check out at noon on Monday the 15th.

The room has two queens (Heh) but one is Phil's because he's a Pretty, Pretty Princess who can't share. Also he's about nine thousand feet tall and so there wont be any room once he collapses on it.

I will be sleeping on the floor because that's probably where I'm going to be lying when I'm very suddenly not conscious anymore.

We have the option to get a cot for a small fee per night and we can make Mikhale get a cot and give it to us too. Anyone with air mattresses or something like that might wanna bring them for people in the room.

Also? MOG! SETH IS A CRAPPY FAKE!GOTH ON CHASING JUDGING AMY RIGHT NOW! XD And shut up, I'm watching it because the old lady on it is dealing with a neglect case and I'm taking tips for my Big Bang.
